facing the wall
when was it that rules took place of our own decisions and we comfortably replaced our own feelings by them? forget what you want to do, what you feel like doing, you take a glance into the relationships - moral and ethics book and decide how to react. it might feel strange in the beginning but sure after a while of practise, you won't even be able to hear your true intentions. sad it is, in our daily war battling lifes, we lost touch with ourselves and that gut feeling was raised to a rare and precious gift a few can have and use. forget appearances. forget etiquette. politeness is not a virtue but a skill. calm doesn't come from avoiding conflict but from managing it, embracing it. there's magic and infinite potential in conflict and discussion. those who avoid it aren't peace makers, but fearful pessimists. and then i hate to fight conventions. i hate to categorise. in my mission to get rid of my prejudices i found out two things: i've more of them than i imagined and i've learned the best things in life by letting them go.
